To lead protest march to UN office on Wednesday
Srinagar: Hurruyat Conference (G) will organize a protest demonstration on September 18 which will be led by Syed Ali Geelani who has called for another day long strike on September 21.
According to a press statement, Hurriyat (G) has asked people to assemble at Hyderpora wherefrom Geelani would lead a march towards UNO office Sonwar.
Geelani has also called for a complete shutdown on September 21 and to display resentment against the brutal killings of unarmed and innocent youth.
Hurriyat leader also called a peaceful protest after Friday prayers on September 20.
While condemning the continuous curfew and restriction in South Kashmir and arrest of Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Syed Ali Geelani said that people in Shopian, Kulgam and Pulwama towns are facing immense difficulties and acute shortage of essentials and in case of medical emergencies they feel helpless.
