Srinagar: The Privilege Committee has dropped the proceedings against Security officials for lapses in providing vehicle and security to Member Legislative Council Mr. Ravinder Kumar Sharma on his arrival on June 06, 2013 from Jammu to Srinagar for attending an important meeting in the Council Secretariat.
The motion was dropped following assurances by ADGP Security Mr. V. K. Singh that in future, care shall be taken that no such lapses occur and efforts will be made to further improve the system whenever required, so that no inconvenience is caused to the Legislators.
