Srinagar: Fourteen persons tested positive for novel coronavirus in Valley on Friday taking the total number of cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 328 , said J&K administration.
“14 new positive cases were detected in Kashmir, while four persons have recovered and have been discharged from Jammu hospital,” said a daily media bulletin issued by J&K govt.
The bulletin said that one Covid-19 patient died at SKIMS Bemina.
Among the fresh cases, nine are from Bandipora, three from Shopian and two from Kupwara district.
With these 14 new cases, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Jammu and Kashmir has gone up to 328 – 274 from Kashmir and 54 from Jammu.
Out of the total, 281 are active cases as 42 people have recovered and five have died due to the coronavirus, according to the daily media bulletin on COVID-19.
