London, Sept 17: British Member of Parliament and Respect Party leader, George Galloway has announced to lead a relief caravan from Britain to Kashmir valley by road.
Addressing a dinner hosted in the British MPs honour by Tehreek-e-Kashmir and Islamic Mission (UK) in Bradford, Galloway said that he along with thousands of people will try to go to Srinagar for distribution of relief goods among the Kashmiris.
The MP called upon India to stop human rights violations in the occupied territory.
The Jamaat-e-Islami AJK President, Abdul Rashid Turabi, who was also present on the occasion, assured Galloway of his full cooperation. He informed the audience that India was conspiring to turn fertile lands of Pakistan into barren by blocking river waters flowing into the country.
George Galloway has led several relief caravans to besieged Gaza in Palestine.
