Srinagar: Dukhtaran-e-Millat activists hoisted a Pakistani flag near Pratap park here today. Reports said that on the day of Pakistans independence, green flags were seen hoisted at some places including one at the fence of Pratap park near press Enclave.
Some youth unfurled Pakistani flags on mobile towers which according to eyewitnesses were not being removed till late evening.
Pakistani flags were also seen unfurling at Khanyar, Babademb, Rajouri Kadal, Dalgate, Nowhatta and at other places. Some masked youth unfurled four Pakistani flags at Babademb which attracted the attention of passersby.
Police swung into action and removed these flags at various places.(CNS)
