Srinagar: Three persons were killed in separate road mishaps in Srinagar, Baramulla and Kupwara districts of Kashmir Valley, officials said Saturday.
A police spokesman said one Abdul Kabir Bagh of Bijhama, who was injured last Thursday when a Muruti car driven by met with an accident at Banday Uri in north Kashmirs Baramulla, succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura here.
He said one more person Nissar Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Qadir of Ishbar succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura. Bhat was injured in an accident at Ishbar Nishat Chowk, Srinagar on July 26.
In another accident, a Motorcycle (without registration number) driven by Irshad Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Rahim of Trehgam skidded off the road at Chowkibal in Kralpora Kupwara, resulting in injuries to him. Mir succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital, the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, a Tata sumo (JK09-1185) fell down from road at Bumhama near Jamkash, Kupwara, resulting in injuries to the driver Irfan Ahmed Khan son of Ghulam Rasool of Gugtiyal. Khanhas been shifted to SKIMS, Soura, for treatment, the spokesman added.
