SRINAGAR – Continuing its drive against illegal constructions, the Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) on Saturday carried out a demolition drive in various parts of the city.
The demolition drive at Check Saderable, Saidakadal, Ranger stop, Arabal, Shalimar, Chandpora, Harwan, Braine Nishat, Meerbagh and Manzgam was conducted under the supervision of Enforcement Officer in presence of SDPO Zakura and SHOs Nigeen and Harwan, an official spokesperson said.
Eight structures including one single storey house, 02 huts, shutter, block and 03 shops were demolished, he added.
