SRINAGAR – Police on Monday filed charge sheet against two persons for delivering a ‘provocative speech’ during the funeral of a militant in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district two years ago.
Police presented charge sheet at a court here against Mohammad Rafiq Shah of Shuhama, Ganderbal and Bashir Ahmad Lone of Brain Nishat for allegedly delivering a provocative speech on the funeral of a militant Mohammad Rafiq Bhat at Chunduna Ganderbal in 2018.
“Accordingly case FIR No. 71/2018 was registered in Police Station Ganderbal and investigation was initiated in the matter,” a police spokesperson said.
“During the course of investigation, Police collected all the evidences regarding the case and subsequently arrested both the accused persons involved in the crime,” the spokesperson added.
