Srinagar: The state government has constituted a nine-member committee headed by Principal Secretary to Government, Planning & Development Department for revival of Poultry in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a government order, the panel will examine the issue confronting the poultry sector and suggest a comprehensive package for its revival.
Besides the chairman, the other members of the committee include Principal Secretaries Finance and Power Development Department, Commissioner Secretary Agriculture Production Department,
Commissioner Secretary Industries & Commerce Department, Secretary Animal Sheep Husbandry Department, Secretary Cooperative Department, Director, Animal Husbandry, Kashmir and Jammu.
