SRINAGAR – The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has expressed his deep concern and condemnation of the’ recent wave of violence against the people of Kashmir by the Indian forces’ who reportedly caused the death and injury of a number of innocent Kashmiri people.
The Secretary General urged the Indian authorities to show restraint, avoid excessive use of force, and respect the peoples will and rights in order to help improve the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the wider region as a whole, says an OIC emailed message.
