Srinagar – Powerful explosions on a hillside struck terror in a Tral village on Friday night, forcing locals out of their homes due to quake-like tremors.
Five persons had a miraculous escape when a landslide triggered off by the blasts crushed their home.
The calamity struck in the Baranpathri village of Nagbal where locals are still puzzled about the cause of the explosions.
They said a number of landslides swept down the hill afterwards.
Too terrified to stay in their homes, the entire village spent the rest of the night outdoors. Observer News Service
