SRINAGAR: Suspected militants hurled a hand grenade on a police vehicle at Lawaypora, in the city outskirts resulting in injuries to at least two police cops.
Police sources said that militants attacked a police party late in the Tuesday, evening by hurling a hand grenade.
They added that two police personnel got injured in the incident.
Police and forces have cordoned off the area and the search operation was on when the reports last came in.
