SRINAGAR – Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) on Wednesday declared the result of Higher Secondary Part-II examination for Kashmir division.
According to the official, 76 percent pass percentage of students was recorded in the class 12th result today, adding that the pass percentage of boy students has been recorded as 75 per cent while as the overall pass percentage of girl students is 77 per cent.
Officials said that around 46599 students from different streams appeared in the recently conducted examinations at 400 examination centres.
Out of 46599 students, 35454 students have been declared as qualified in the exams.
As per the figures, 10408 students have got distinction in the class 12th examination while as 15684 students have been awarded first division marks and 7756 students have qualified the examination with second division.
Also, 1606 students have been awarded third division while as 10780 students have to reappear in the examination of various subjects and 365 have failed to qualify any of the subjects in their stream.
JKBOSE has shown dispute eligibility against the results of 207 students while as 55 students have been marked as absent.
Notably, in wake of the internet gag in the Valley, the BOSE has switched to the manual procedure and has been declaring the results through gazettes.
Pertinently, the class 10th results were also declared via gazettes, SMS in view of internet clampdown in Kashmir. (KNO)
