SRINAGAR – Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has condemned the killing of army men in Srinagar describing it an act of barbarism and cowardice.
In a message to the army forces and to the bereaved families, the Chief Minister has expressed his solidarity with them and conveyed his heartfelt condolence over the loss of precious human lives and brave soldiers in the terrorist act. He has also conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
Meawhile, Pradesh Congress president Prof. Saif-u-din Soz, condemned the attack on Army personnel.
Expressing deep shock over the incident, Soz said violence in any form would not solve any problem.
Meanwhile Mohammad Yousaf Targami, Gh Hassan Mir, Hakim Yasin condemned the killing of five army men.
