SRINAGAR – It is to inform the general public and transporters that in connection with 4th Mughal Road Rally 2013 from June 28th to June 29th, all types of vehicles including passenger vehicles, load carriers and Army convoy would not ply on Dubjan-Pir ki Gali-Bufliaz road on June 28th between 7 AM to 5 PM and Daksum-Sinthan pass road on June 29th between 8 AM to 4 PM.
Only those vehicles bearing stickers of the Mughal Road Rally (officials, competitors and service providers) will be permitted access on these roads during the rally days.
The Army is also requested to ensure that no convoy movement takes place during competitive stages on the Rally days.
It was also informed that in order to prevent accidents due to movement of livestock during the competitive stages of the Rally, District Development Commissioners, Poonch, Rajouri and Kishtwar would inform all Shepherds/nomads in advance to stop and restrict movement of their livestock along the rally route on June 28th between 7 AM to 5 PM from Shopian to Bufliaz and on June 29th between 7 AM to 5 PM from Daksum to Sinthan pass.
