SRINAGAR – In a special Doctors day function being organized on 30th June, 2013 at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi Medical Association (DMA) will honor noted Kashmiri Endocrinologist and former Director S-K Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar.
Dr Zargar would be receiving this award for his outstanding contribution to the medical profession and the society.
The letter from DMA reads, Delhi Medical Association shall feel proud to honor you for your distinguished services and outstanding contribution to medical profession and the society on the occasion of Doctors Day Award Ceremony as you are one of the medical luminaries in your field of the country.
This day is observed in the memory of late Dr. B.C. Roy, eminent medical stalwart who dedicated his life in the service of mankind.
Dr. Zargar said, “Its a privilege to be considered for this honor by such a widely reputed and respected association. It gives me immense joy and greater incentive to work harder and contribute more to society. This award means a lot to me and I would like to extend my gratitude to the association for considering me eligible for the award.”
