Srinagar, June 04: The centre for career planning & Counseling, University of Kashmir organized recruitment for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, officials today said.
A high level delegation from Accenture visited University of Kashmir for recruitment. The company generated net revenues of US$27.9 billion for the previous fiscal year.
Prof. Talat Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir, welcomed the visiting delegates from Accenture and assured them that the state of Jammu & Kashmir has rich talent pool of competent and capable youth, who have capacity to make positive contribution to corporate world. He further added that the university is striving hard to provide a platform to competent youth of the state for enhancing their skill set and helping them to excel in their chosen fields. Prof. Shabir Ahmad , Director Career Planning and Counseling University of Kashmir said that the Centre has initiated a massive recruitment drive wherein leading companies like TCS, ONGC, HCL Info Systems, and Rooman Technologies etc. have conducted recruitment at the center. He further added that the center is also working hard to invite major corporate houses on regular basis so that our youth can be productively employed across all sectors.
