Srinagar: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Bank Mushtaq Ahmad called on Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhavan, here Monday.
During the meeting, Ahmad briefed the Governor about the various initiatives taken by the J&K Bank to promote economic growth and stability by supporting advance loans to the artisans and craftsmen to enlarge their work and to the un-employed youth and others for establishing their own income generating ventures under different self-employment schemes.
The Governor complimented Mushtaq Ahmad for the rapid growth of the J&K Bank under his charge and stressed that there was no ceiling to the role that the Bank could play for securing the goal of rapid all round development of all parts of the State.
