ANANTNAG Twin brothers were killed in a cloudburst in Pharoo kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday evening, sources said.
The deceased has been identified as Arif Ahmad Lone and Sameer Ahmad Lone, both sons of Mohd Ibrahim Lone.c Reports said a number of sheep also perished in the natural calamity.
SDM Kokernag Owais Mushtaq confirmed the killing of twin brothers and said that the administration is facing difficulties in bringing the bodies towards their native village for the last rites.
He said that two other persons who also came under cloudburst had a miraculous escape.
Soon after the incident, a police team, local volunteers besides officials from administration reached the spot and are trying to bring the bodies back
