SRINAGAR A 25-year-old youth died on Monday after he fell from a popular tree in Larkipora area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports said that Firdous Ahmad Sheikh (25) son of Gul Mohd Sheikh fell down from the popular tree while pruning it Larkipora. In the incident. Firdous suffered critical injuries in his head.
Firdous was immediately removed to district hospital Anantnag where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, they said.
A police officer also confirmed the incident.
Non-local labourer found dead in Pulwama
A 32-year-old labourer was found dead at a village in south Kashmirs Pulwama district on Monday.
Reports said that some locals spotted the body lying at Adgam today morning and informed the police station concerned accordingly.
A police officer said that soon after receiving the information about it, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body.
The officer identified the deceased as Nanda Munda (32), a resident of West Bengal.
Nanda was working as a labourer in the southern district and there was no visible injury on his body, the officer said.
He said they were ascertaining the cause of his death.
