SRINAGAR: Suppressing peoples voice by police and army, implementation of black laws and arrests and torture are in every means an undemocratic behaviour and act of state terrorism. Implementation of black law PSA on JKLF District President Pulwama Javed Ahmad Bhat is a clear evidence and proof of this unilateral state sponsored violence, said JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued here today.
The way in which the rulers in Kashmir at the behest of their masters in Delhi are subjecting people to worst kind of oppression cannot be termed but as worst kind of terrorism and undemocratic behavior of the rulers, Malik said.
He said that JKLFs Pulwama President is a peaceful political worker who is known for his steadfastness, wisdom, nobility, truthfulness and peaceful behaviour. By imposing PSA on him government has clearly demonstrated its venom against the political workers.
He alleged that rulers in J&K with the help of police and forces have started a crackdown against JKLF but rulers and their forces must bear in mind that their unilateral state oppression cannot deter us from the path of struggle.
Jails and torture centres are not new for JKLF leaders and workers and oppressive measures like these cannot scare the carder of JKLF, he said. Condemning the continued reign of terror unleashed by police and forces against Mutahida Majlise Mashawarat (MMM), Yasin Malik said MMM is not any underground organization but a political forum of all organizations working politically for the cause of freedom.
Yasin Malik said that the demand for returning back of mortal remains of Mohammad Maqbool Butt and Mohammad Afzal Guru is genuine, legal and democratic. MMM by standing for this just cause is doing nothing wrong. On one hand rulers day in and out claim that there is no ban on political and peaceful struggle or demands but on the other hand all out an effort to arrest and torture MMM members continues. This crackdown has yet again proved that Kashmir is not governed by any civilians but actually is a police state and the civil rulers and administration are actually puppets in the hand of forces, he said.
Meanwhile peaceful protests demonstrations were held in Pulwama against the arresting JKLF district president Javed Ahmad Bhat. Javed who was arrested on 14th march 2013 by police was today sent to Srinagar central jail under PSA. People protested against his arrest and imposition of PSA on him.
