JAMMU: Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs, Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather while replying to a question by Aga Syed Ahmad Rizvi informed the House that 44 KAS officers have retired during 2012.
The Minister said that these vacancies are filled up on annual basis by appointing eligible officers of 18 departmental feeding services. He said that the process has already been started and the suitable officers will be posted shortly in Kargil.
