JEE Mains Marks v/s AIR 2019 for NITs
The National Institute of Technology is one of the top universities that are listed alongside with the IITs. It is an autonomous institute governed by the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007. There are over 31 NITs across the country which are funded by the Government of India. Even though they are the top institutes, it has one of the lowest acceptance rates for engineering colleges who take up around 2 to 3% of candidates from the top AIR.
JEE Mains Marks v/s AIR 2019 for IITs
The Indian Institute of Technology is one of the most sought colleges by students to pursue their engineering and architecture courses. It is a group of institutes that offer higher education focussing mainly on information technology. At present, there are over 23 IITs in India. Out of these 5 are established, administered and funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), while the others are governed and run on the Public-Private partnership model (PPP).
JEE Mains Marks v/s AIR 2019 for GFTIs
The GFTIs are Government Funded Technical Institutes which is established with the view of providing a greater platform for students to build a technically literate society along with leading it towards progression. At present, our country houses around 18 GFTIs and they are one among the different institutes that participate in the JEE Main examination. The intake process of these institutes is handled by the Central Seat Allocation Board and Joint Seat Allocation Authority through multiple rounds.
