SRINAGAR The Indian Army on Thursday refuted reports about one of the three injured soldiers in Tral gunfight having died.
Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia said: “Media reports about the death of one of the injured soldiers in Tral area encounter having succumbed to injuries are denied.
“The injured soldier is being treated in the hospital”.
Earlier reports had said that one of the three army soldiers injured in Tral area gunfight had succumbed to their injuries.
Three local militants were killed today in a gunfight with the security forces in Gulshanpora village of Tral area.
