JAMMU: Best Legislators Award in Legislative Council was announced today at an impressive function held in the lawns of Legislative Council Secretariat. The committee constituted for the purposes had recommended Mr. Ajay Kumar Sadhotra from ruling NC and Murtaza Ahmad Khan from opposition party PDP for the award.
Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, Chairman, Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra gave away the awards.
Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul, Minister for Planning and Development, Ajay Sadhotra, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Mir Saifullah, council of Ministers besides the members of the Council, officers of Council Secretariat and other departments were present on the occasion.
