SRINAGAR Two Army soldiers were injured after exchange of firing took place in Larve area of Kakapora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday evening.
Reports said that two Army soldiers were injured after militants and forces exchanged heaving firing in Larve.
A senior Police official said that a ambush was laid by the joint team of army and SOG in larve. In the meantime, a group militants who were passing through the area had a standoff with the forces.
In the incident, the officer said that the two soldiers were injured and have been hospitalized.
The officer the condition of the injured is said to be stable.
Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the fleeing militants he added. (GNS)
