SRINAGAR As a mark of respect to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Former Prime Minister of India who passed away at AIIMS Hospital New Delhi today, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has decided the all its Offices/Boards/Corporations and Educational Institutions shall remain closed on Friday in the memory of departed soul
According to an order issued here, there will be State Mourning for seven days from 16 to 22 August, (both days inclusive), the National and State Flags shall fly at half mast during the state mourning on all buildings and places where these are flown regularly and there shall be no official entertainment during the period of State Mourning.
