SRINAGAR A B.Tech student from Pulwama district of south Kashmir has gone missing even as police said it was investigating “all angles” into it.
Reports said that Khursheed Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Nabi Malik left his home at Arabal Nikas, Pulwama on Tuesday morning.
According to his family, Malik told them that he has to submit a form for KAS but did not return since then and his phone too has been switched off.
“He should return home as his mother has taken seriously ill and if he is with somebody he should be let go on the humanitarian basis,” Qayoom Malik, Khursheeds brother, said. The family has also submitted a missing report with the local police about Khursheed.
A police officer said that a missing report has been received from the family and investigations have taken up.
“We are investigating all angles,” the police officer said, responding in affirmative to a query whether investigations entail the possibility of Malik having joined militancy. (with inputs by GNS)
