Kashmir will turn into war-zone if provision disturbed: Prakash
SRINAGAR A Kashmiri Pandit and President All J&K Pensioners Welfare Association, Sampath Prakash Tuesday appealed all the elderly pensioners to assemble at Pratap Park on August 2 to register a protest against the proposed annulment of Article 35A.
Coming down heavily on anti-Kashmir elements for supporting the clandestine moves of repealing Article 35A, which is a constitutional guarantee to the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh for preserving their distinct identity and dignity, irrespective of religion or caste, Sampat Prakash said if this provision is repealed, Kashmir will turn into a war zone and there will be revolution on Kashmir roads.
I appeal to all pensioners to assemble at Pratap Park Srinagar at 3pm on August 2 and register a strong protest in support of this provision, he said and added efforts should be made to pressurize Supreme Court to think thousand times before deciding to doing away with the provision that secures the future of millions of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
