SRINAGAR Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) on Tuesday conducted an anti-encroachment drive from Airport road Humhama to Rajbagh.
The enforcement wing conducted raids under the supervision of Chief Enforcement Officer (CEO) Sufi Mohammad Akbar and cleared all the encroachments done by shopkeeper and street vendors from the entire stretch of airport road till Rajbagh area.
Also an anti-cannabis drive was launched by SMC in collaboration with Kashmir against Corruption (KAC) NGO in various parts of Srinagar in which demolition squad including the grass cutting men of SMC participated, the statement added. (KNS)
