ANANTNAG District Bar Association Anantnag Tuesday held a peaceful protest march in support of Article 35-A.
Hundreds of Lawyers with placards and banners in their hands took out a protest march from the premises of district court Anantnag up to Lal Chowk area of the district.
The protest march was led by President Bar Association Anantnag Fayaz Sadogar and General Secretary Sheikh Irfan Gulzar.
The protesting lawyers said that Article 35- A, must remain in its original position, and warned of dire consequences if the Article is tampered with.
They said that India was trying to keep people of Kashmir busy with many issues including Article 35-A.
