SRINAGAR: Senior separatist leader and National Front Chairman Nayeen Ahmad Khan has not been produced in the court for the third consecutive time which has proved the fact that the so called state government is on a policy to keep the leadership away from the people, a party spokesman said in a statement today.
The irony is that the judiciary is providing a helping hand to the administration in this regard because the same court which sent Nayeem Ahmad Khan to judicial custody on February 8, on the basis of a 13 year old false case, is not having the courage to ask the police as to why Khan is not being produced before it he alleged.
Nayeem Ahmad Khan and another senior leader Shabir Ahmad Shah are languishing in central Jail Srinagar.
He said the National Front wants to make it clear that such barbaric tactics of the government cant make the leaders like Nayeem Ahmad Khan to change their stance about the Kashmir dispute. The so called state government is making all efforts to keep the leadership away from the people and for this it has turned the whole state into a big jail. The youths are being harassed in the name of law and order and the people are compelled to remain indoors, he said.
