SRINAGAR Former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha called on National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah at his residence in Srinagar on Friday.
Sinha discussed the prevailing situation in the State as well as recent political developments with the NC Vice President and said the return of peace and restoration of a democratic, representative system of governance was of utmost importance, said a party spokesman.
“Omar Abdullah said the party’s foremost concern remained the restoration of normalcy in the State and that relief is provided to the people,” he said.
