SrinagarA leopard was found dead in Harde- Ichloo village, three kilometers from tourist resort of Tangmarg, on Friday, residents said.
Villagers spotted the leopard lying dead near an electric transformer when they came out from the local Masjid after offering Fajir (morning) prayers, said Bilal Ahmad Dar, a local resident.
He said the animal was taken away by the officials of wildlife department after locals informed them.
