ShopianA 33-year-old woman was killed after hit by a speedy vehicle (tipper) in a village at Shopian area of south Kashmiron Tuesday.
A police officer said that the woman Ulfat (33) wife of Showkat Ahmad Wani, a resident of Tarkawangam was injured critically after being hit by the tipper (bearing registration no JK04-1291) some distance away from her home today in the afternoon.
Soon after the mishap, the locals of the area took the woman immediately and shifted her to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead on arrival, he said.
A case was registered in this regard and further investigations were taken up, the officer said. (GNS)
