SRINAGAR: Chief Patron Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi Thursday urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to understand its responsibilities and work for the revival of lost glory of the Muslim World.
OIC should work for revival of lost glory of Muslim world. Otherwise Muslims from east to west would continue to be target of imperialist powers, he said.
Inqilabi said arrogant powers continue to destroy Muslim countries. After Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya they have set their eyes on Mali.
MeA patron said if oil-producing Muslim countries temporarily stop exporting oil to India, its leaders will find themselves psychologically besieged.
He said this will force India to come clean of Kashmir issue.
Inqilabi castigated Pakistans apologetic K-policy and said it wont help in resolving this dispute.
Azad Kashmir should be empowered so that it can act as base camp of our freedom struggle, he added.
Azam accused Indian leaders of not being sincere to solve Kashmir issue.
Inqilabi said, India wants peace of graveyard here.
He said in 1990 India appointed Jagmohan as governor here. He played role of Gen. Dyer, Jallianwalla like massacre became order of the day.
Indian troops martyred 50 people on Jan. 21, 1990 at Gawkadal in just few minutes. Same thing was repeated at Handwara on Jan. 25, 1995 and 26 people were killed.
On 27 Jan. 1994, 27 people were massacred at Kupwara. Not only 50 people were killed in Sopore on Jan.6, 1993 but whole town was razed, he said.
He alleged every Indian soldier is playing role of Gen. Dyer in Kashmir.
MeA patron said Kashmiri nation wont forgive the perpetrators of these war crimes.
Our martyrs are our identity. It is necessary that we construct martyrs memorial in honour of our martyrs, he said.
I appeal people of Gawkadal, Kupwara and Sopore to build two storey buildings named as Aiwaan-e-Shohada? having a public library and an office and auditorium, he added.
This will be a befitting tribute to our martyrs, Inqilabi said in the statement.
