SrinagarEven after two years, the District administration Anantnag has miserably failed to evacuate a land measuring 1.10 Marlas from the encroachers, despite the orders from Divisional Commissioners office.
According to the documents lying with KNS, a land patch measuring 1.5 Kanals at Laram Ganjipora that the state land has been illegally encroached upon by the non-applicants and the sub-ordinate revenue authorities have remained silent on the matter and have not taken action against the encroachers, reads the order from Divisional Commissioners office.
The order further reads that keeping in view the mentioned facts, the application is disposed off with the direction to Deputy Commissioner Anantnag that shall get the matter enquired with regard to the quantum of state land (Pathwar Khana) existing in Laram Ganjipora (Gasipora) and direct the Tehsildar Anantnag to compile a list of encroachers who have illegally encroached upon the State land at village Laram Ganjipora and the action as warranted under law shall be taken.
