SrinagarThe Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry has sought extension of J&K Civic Laws (Special Provisions) Amendment Act, 2014, till the 31st of March, 2018.
The Act expired on the 30th of September, 2017.
KCC&I has sought attention of Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister (Minister Incharge Housing and Urban Development Department) urging them to extend the J&K Civic Laws (Special Provisions) Amendment Act, 2014.
“Since the objects and reasons for the grant of extension of the Act still subsist in the sense that the Master Plan for Srinagar is yet to be finalized, you are requested to kindly extend the Act till the 31st of March, 2018 so that the business community is not inconvenience because of the delay in finalisation of the Master Plan,” a spokesperson of KCC&I said here today.
