SRINAGAR: The young woman who suffered an acid attack in Srinagar three days ago has sustained significant damage in the left eye, authorities at the Apollo Hospital In New Delhi, where she was admitted on Friday, said
There are also severe acid burns on her face, and patches on her right arm, a medical bulletin, issued after the patient was examined at the hospital, said.
The burns are deep and will require multiple reconstructive surgical procedures, it said, adding that a multi-disciplinary team of doctors was assessing the patient.
The young woman was flown to New Delhi today from the SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for further treatment.
