Delina (Baramulla)The sudden death of Ashfaq Ahmad Bhat, MCA student of the University North Campus has left the students and faculty shell shocked.
Ashfaq, an MCA student of PG Department of Computer Science, North Campus of Kashmir University, breathed his last on Sunday evening at SKIMS Soura where he was undergoing treatment for the last two days.
On Friday late evening, Ashfaq and his friend were hit by a speedy Sumo leaving the two critically injured.
Director North Campus, Prof Irshad Ahmad Wani , was shocked over the news of Irshads death.
He expressed his heart felt condolence with the bereaved family and said, “I am deeply shocked over his death and I pray for his Magfirah and Sabr e Jameel to the family which had great expectations with the boy”.
Academic coordinators of all the departments at North Campus, Dr Khursheed Ahmad Qazi ,Miss Ambareen Khursheed, Dr Dawood Ahmad Khan and Manzoor Ahmad Lone also expressed their grief over the students death and prayed to Almighty Allah for his Magfirah and patience to the family.
The condolence meeting was attended by the staff and students in a state of deep despair and gloom.
