SrinagarDivisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, Monday convened a meeting to review the progress of land acquisition cases of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project.
Additional Commissioner Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Chief Engineer USBRL (Northern Railway Jammu), Director Tourism, concerned Collectors of Land Acquisition, Deputy Director Planning and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed provision of lease papers of Tulsi Bagh Complex Srinagar, provision of land for construction of rest houses at Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg, pending red accounts with the concerned Collectors of Land Acquisition and other land acquisition cases.
The Div Com directed for removing all bottlenecks of land acquisition cases of the rail link project on priority so that this prestigious project can be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
