Srinagar Government Higher Secondary School Kothibagh today organized a seminar on Iqbal and Science.
Secretary School Education, Farooq Ahmed Shah, Director, School Education Kashmir Dr G N Itoo, Principal SIE Mehboob Hussain, CEO Srinagar and other officials were present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Shah said that poetry of Dr Sir Muhammad Iqbal is very much relevant in the present times. The message of morality through his poetry should be followed by the present generation.
Director School Education also addressed the gathering and said that poetry of Dr Iqbal gels well with the modern day science and there is need to publicize his message far and wide.
Principal Kothibagh Romana Qazi presented vote of thanks to the participants for participating in the seminar.
Students of Girls Higher Secondry School Kothibagh, Rajbagh, Amira Kadel, S.P. Higher Secondary and Jawahar Nagar School presented Dr Iqbal’s poetry in the form of Qawali.
