SrinagarCongress leader Anayatullah Rather has demanded release of all political detainees and Stone pelters arrested during the recent months.
Rather, who is district President of Indian National Congress for Kulgam district was speaking to the visiting Congress panel headed by Former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh in Srinagar on Saturday.
Former JK Chief Minister Gulam Nabi Azad is also the member of the Panel.
Rather also demanded compensation to the pellet victims of the Valley some of whom have lost the eyesight forever.
Rather also asked to engage youth in a dialoge and also start a meaningful dialoge with all the stakeholders to end the instability and chaos in the valley.
Rather asked the Congress panel to announce the name of Gulam Nabi Azad for the Chief Minister candidate as people have faith in his leadership as his two and a half years of Chief ministership had opened a new era of development in the state.
