KargilThe students of Government Degree College Kargil on Monday staged a protest demonstration against Kashmir University authorities for delay in semester examinations.
Hundreds of students from the College campus marched through bus stand and assembled at Laal Chowk Kargil.
During the protest students raised slogans against university authorities and local administration.
Islamia School Kargil and Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust also extended their support to the students and took part in the protest.
Shiekh Asgar Zakeri, a representative of Islamia School said that they will always stand with the students and will support their genuine rights.
The students claimed that their 4th semester exams are yet to be conducted while they have already spent three years in graduation. This is sheer injustice and at the pace at which the university is running the ciurses a three year degree course will take us 4 yours to complete.
The students demanded the intervention of vice chancellor into the matter and take note of their issues.
