SrinagarPolice on Monday registered a case against an assailant for attacking a Class 10th student with a sharp knife in Zainakote area of Srinagar city.
A police official from Parimpora Police Station told news agency CNS that during an argument on a petty matter, one Amir Farooq Dar (35) assaulted a 16 year old boy Ahmed Bashir with a sharp knife; as a result he suffered serious injuries. The wounded boy was admitted in the hospital.
The police official said that the assailant is still at large while a case vide FIR number 212/2017 under section 307, 506, 323 RPC has been registered against him.
