SrinagarThe landlords who have given their land to PHE and Irrigation & Flood Control Department for pipeline purpose has warned to stop water supply if their demands are not fulfilled.
These landlords who had come from different districts of Kashmir Valley alleged that during the acquisition of land, both the departments has promised that a member from each family will be given government job on permanent basis, however, even after the expiry of 18 years the promise was not fulfilled.
They said that they are still working on temporary basis, and have not even draw the salaries from past 8 months.
The protesting landlords said that they will hit to roads in case government doesnt fulfill the promise.
