SrinagarThe state high court Friday granted three months to the government for framing amended rules regulating the recruitment and conditions of services of the members of state services.
As a related case came up for hearing before a division bench of Chief Justice Badar Durrez Ahmad and Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, advocate general submitted that three months time be granted to frame the rules and to effect promotions.
Statement taken on record. The appeal is disposed of granting three months time the official respondents for framing of the rules holding that the appellants shall be permitted to continue for months as on today, the court said.
It said that the proposal for making or amending of the rules regulating the recruitment and conditions of services of the members of state services including those appointed to the secretariat staff of legislatures and officers and servants of High court shall be submitted to the Chief Minister through Chief secretary before issuance of orders.
