KokernagMonths after several north Indian states and Jammu reported series of mysterious braid cutting incidents, a teenage girl in Kokernag in South Kashmir has now claimed that her hair had been cut off under mysterious circumstances”.
The incident was reported from Panear, Guddraman village in Kokernag in Anantnag District making it the first such incident in the Kashmir valley.
Naira Jan, a class 9 student of Govt High School Gudraman, Larnoo hailing from Paneer-Guddraman claimed that she fell unconscious after she reached home from school. When she did not come out of her room after repeated calls from her parents, her father Nazir Ahmad Khatana went there only to find her lying unconscious with her braid cut.
She was immediately removed to local hospital where she is undergoing treatment.
