SrinagarDirectorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) today said that services of 84 Rehabare-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers have been regularized besides in-situ promotions in favour of 498 teaching and non- teaching employees of the Department of Kashmir province have also been granted in August this year.
The aim is to ensure fast track disposal of cases related to promotions, regularization of ReTs, medical reimbursement claims and general promotions. Around 42 medical reimbursement claims have also been cleared during the current month and an amount of Rs 4,264037 has been released for disbursement, a statement of the DSEK said.
Meanwhile, Director School Education has constituted a Committee of officers to look into the complaints received from parents regarding harassment faced by their wards in some private schools.
The committee today visited some schools of Srinagar district and resolved various issues on spot. The Committee warned the school administrations of strict action against those who harass the students in the name of fee enhancement and other issues, the statement added.
