SrinagarA group of miscreants made unsuccessful attempt to loot Automated Teller Machine (ATM) on the city outskirts during the intervening night of August 25 and 26, official sources said today.
They said miscreants tried to break open the ATM of Jammu and Kahmir Bank (JKB) at Umar-Hair, Bachpora on the city outskirts.
However, residents in the nearby area immediately raised an alarm, the sources said, adding that later the miscreants managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
Miscreants made an unsuccessful attempt to loot Automated Teller Machine (ATM) on the outskirts of summer capital, Srinagar during the intervening night of August 10 and 11, official sources said here today.
They said some unidentified miscreants tried to break the ATM of Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) at Samarbugh on the city outskirts. However, after failing to break the ATM, the miscreants left without looting the cash.
Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings, they said.
